To the people who don't get snow and think they're missing out on all the fun. There is always a downside.
Won't be long now.
This is from just one day of driving.
Will be getting washed tomorrow.
No matter how often you wash your car, there will be rust.

In western states they use gravel...part the reason why half the people in Colorado have cracked windshields.

I'm done with it after the first snowfall, and it's not even winter yet. :(

yup but there expensive and thus never used by governments, except for sand, sand is used when it becomes colder then -18 C because that's when salt stops melting ice, or in area's with smaller snow clearing budgets, it's normal to see a car from area's that only use sand to have very little rust on them as they get older,
they also use calcium chloride and salt water brine to pre anti ice a lot of roads now which is basically like driving threw salt water, well it is.

try having a 96 bronco looking like that, you know, a truck known for rotting out if you look at it funny
I just washed it off today with a pressure washer at the car wash, should be good til we get salt again.

Global Warming, but it is taking longer than expected. Sorry... I'm doing my part - F-250 with V10 getting 12 mpg.

I somehow drive a rust free 10 year old car in Ontario. How it stays rust free is a mystery.
